Interested in Therapy Groups ?

Bespoke therapeutic groups
Tell us what you want and need, and then leave it to us to create a plan, to help you learn and practice the skills to achieve the life you want! 

We can offer groups for the following:
  • Anxiety.  What is this?  Why do I feel this way? What can I do about it?  How do I regain control? In order to change it, we need to understand it!
  • Buidling Resilience.  This programme is designed to help people to build psychological skills to cope with challenges, stress, and change.
  • Grief.  Explore your grief cycle, identify what you need, and what steps to take to enable you to take steps towards healing in your own time.
  • Changing families.  Supporting people to navigate life’s changes amidst parent separation, and the blending of families.
 
Two NZAC registered counsellors to facilitate each group of 6-8 participants. 

We draw a large amount of our group content from ACT, CBT, Neuroscience and then infuse it with modern technology to make support even more accessible to you!

Group participants will be matched to others of similar age and experiences. We offer a private, relaxed, and inviting space.   Ages for groups range from 11 – 25.

Workshops require a 6-session commitment from you to complete the course.

People in groups report feeling less lonely, isolated, or judged.  They experience reduction in a range of distress levels, build coping skills, and learn how to talk more openly about their feelings.

Is a group the best option for you?

We understand everyone’s experiences are different, and there is a huge spectrum in the way in which people respond to life’s challenges.  Therefore before entering a group we ask people to have a one on one consult with us, to discuss what’s happening for you, and to see if the group environment would be a good fit for you right now.

If we do not think group therapy is a great option for you, we will advise you of other services that might better suit your needs.  Most importantly, we want you to leave us with a plan.
